The Forsaken was the first redeemer to exist and was considered the first failure of Heaven due to him going insane with the heavenly fires. God was disgusted with The Forsaken's existence and cast him out of Heaven where he remained on Earth. No other information was revealed about The Forsaken, as Heaven erased record of his existence prior to his return on Earth thanks to Spawn's time bomb. There he would work with Cordelia by capturing Hellspawns. However, he had not realized that Heaven does not want him back no matter how hard he tries, and he would later fight both Spawn and the new Redeemer. After learning the truth, he heads to kill Cordelia and her group. He would later fight against al and escape. Then later jericho meets up with Forsaken to fight against sinn who is cain and later forsaken is revealed to be Abel.
