Stevens is a married army man in the United States military. Along with fellow marine [[Private Larry Brewer|Larry Brewer]], he is sent to [[Simmonsville]] as a ‘volunteer’. He only makes an appearance at the beginning of Spawn issue #16 – because shortly after, a demon from [[Hell]] arises from underground. Initially [[Private Larry Brewer|Larry]] believes it to be the government doing some kind of drug-testing on them, that is until the demon gouges its claws through both of his eye-sockets, lifts him of the ground, and melts the flesh from his bones. Stevens is shocked, and tries his best to defend himself but to no avail. The demon drags him into the house, busting open his head along the way. The next time you see him, he is in a million pieces being blown out the chimney. |
