A new Spawn film, titled King Spawn, [estimated release in 2025] is being planned by Todd McFarlane, written and directed by him. The titular character will be kept mysterious and his background will be explored later in a planned trilogy.[1] The story will be told from the point of view of NYPD homicide detectives Twitch Williams and Sam Burke. The heart of the story will be fighting for the survival of Wanda Blake, Cyan Fitzgerald and Terry Fitzgerald.
Human villainy will be the primary adversaries, Jason Wynn and the mafia. As a lower budget Blumhouse horror production, Violator will likely not appear in the first film. However the studio changed and some of the script is being changed as well.
