Soul-Trappers are mechanical creatures introduced in Spawn issue #8, and are shown to resemble giant mechanized angels. It is explained that these are known as Soul-Trappers from the Sixth Sphere, and they keep humans as pets to show them off. Different years pertain to different themes (ie: in 1992, the theme is Singers, but in 1991 the theme was Acrobats). The Soul-Trapper in issue #8 captures Claudette to add to its collection.
