Joe Frank is the main antagonist of Spawn #29 and the overarching antagonist of Spawn #58.
He was the abusive father of Andy Frank and Eddie Frank, and one of the main factors that would turn the latter into The Redeemer.
History[]
Joe Frank is a man from Alabama and the abusive father of both Andy Frank and Eddie Frank. He is introduced for the first time in Spawn Issue #29. When in public, Joe has a reputation for being an outstanding citizen and loved police officer - but behind closed doors, he is a violent man who beats his children every chance he gets. He is aggressive towards simple requests and is easily angered by his children. It is noted that he makes absolutely sure that him and his two boys make it to church every Sunday. His wife died years earlier, so the boys have nobody to protect them anymore. After his encounter with Spawn, an mark of "i beat my kids" was printed all over his body. Joe went crazy and began brutally beating little Andy. This resulted him being shot to death by his eldest son, Eddie.
